The Board of Trustees of the Dénes Huszty Foundation
hereby announces the following concerning the call for applications issued in accordance with its founding charter
- For the 2012 competition of the Dénes Huszty public-benefit Foundation — registered in November 2001 — whose subject was works presenting new scientific results, theoretical or practical innovations, or developments in topic areas covering the principal fields of acoustics (e.g. engineering acoustics, electroacoustics, theoretical, physical, and vibration acoustics, room acoustics, media informatics, acoustic informatics, medical acoustics), one submitted work was received.
- At its meeting on 22 January 2013, the Board of Trustees of the Foundation decided not to award a prize in 2013 under the 2012 competition.
- The amount thereby unused for the award will increase the resources of the call to be issued in the second half of 2013.
- The present competition announcement is published on the websites of the Scientific Association for Infocommunications and the Scientific Association for Optics, Acoustics, Motion Pictures and Theatre Technology.
